About SOLK

SOLK is a drum and bass crew which have dropped a range of heavy, remarkable and even historical drum and bass events. These events all took place at venue Hedon, Zwolle. With our own and unique vision on what drum and bass should feel and sound like, we started our own concept. We felt that some niches of drum and bass did not got the attention it deserved. Especially while that specific sound of drum and bass was just what drum and bass was all about: deep and heavy beats and breaks instead of easy pounding and slamming bass lines.

SOLK and Hedon appeared to be a perfect match. SOLK brought the sound, Hedon was our medium with it is an astonishing sound system. As system that even shocked and pleased the greatest performers of the scene. We got the mighty Goldie who just did not want to quit his set an kept on spinning for three hours instead on one. We had 4Hero in a venue for just 400 peeps! You wont see that soon again anywhere else in this planet. We brought you Paradox with his unique live show as the first in The Netherlands. We put Blame and Alpha Omega at one night. We got the founder of drum and bass Doc Scott together with globetrotter A Sides. All the way from Canada we brought you Marcus Visionary. We had Outrage and Breakage together when Outrage had to quit his live performance because his keyboard just bounced away on his own rough beats. We introuduces the wonderful front ladies of drum and bass Storm and Alley Cat. We had the break masters Fracture and Neptune, the highly energetically Equinox together with drum master Macc, the incredible beat structures of Fanu and last but certainly not least our much appreciated Seba. At all events you have been prepped by our own Munic, Fre4knc and Ben L.

It were some fine years in which we infected loads of people with that incredible drug called drum and bass. But we think there is more to achieve, so we leave our home base Hedon to bring our sound at your place, because we believe everyone deserves the best in drum and bass without being limited where you can find it.
